We visited the northern section of Canaveral National Seashore and photographed more shore birds and armadillos.
Our first encounter with an armadillo was a little unnatural as he was laying by the side of the road in the sunshine. He moved and did not appear to be harmed by anything. Twenty feet up the road there was another one in the same position.
At Kennedy Space Center they call these creatures “Space Mice”
